How we teach GRE

GRE, primarily a test of reasoning, necessitates a course in the fundamentals of logic.

GRE smartstart ‘Basic Verbal Reasoning Module’ is intended to give test aspirants a strong foundation for reasoning with ordinary language. The purpose is to familiarize students with certain methods for representing and evaluating arguments and inferences. Topics will include structure, function and evaluation of arguments.

An ‘Advanced Module’ on reasoning will cover strategies to crack the verbal reasoning questions in the GRE.

  • The math module covers all areas tested in the quantitative section of the GRE. A supplement on higher order math reasoning and strategies to crack the varied format math problems is part of this course. Assignments and home work will ensure adequate review and practice.
  • Teaching text completion involves words- in- context vocabulary building, idioms and sentence analysis.
  • Analytical writing workshops cover argument topic analysis, writing essays for select topics and evaluation.

Hundreds of illustrations and practice questions will provide students with ample practice. Section tests and full exams will build test confidence.
